The Arco Oriente, a current highway of 30km, acts as an impenetrable fence along the eastern part of Mexico City. Partnered with the poor public transport system of this area, the highway mirrors - and contributes to - the low quality of life within the surrounding urban areas.
We believe that transforming this “axe” into a space prinicipally for the citizen, is the trigger point to the positive upturn of the city itself.
